EVLO Energy Storage was born from a clear ambition: to contribute to a cleaner, more resilient energy future. Backed by Hydro-Québec’s long-standing commitment to energy innovation, EVLO draws on decades of research from the Hydro-Québec Research Institute (IREQ), the source of hundreds of patents and breakthroughs in battery chemistry known for their safety and performance.

Since its launch in 2020, EVLO has been dedicated to advancing battery energy storage solutions that meet the evolving needs of the grid. Located near Montreal, Canada, our state-of-the-art infrastructure — including a 25kV test line — allows us to rigorously test our fully integrated Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS) under a wide range of conditions. This ensures lower project risk, enhanced reliability, and continuous performance optimization.
Complementing our hardware, we developed EVLOGIX, our proprietary Energy Management System (EMS). Designed to meet the highest safety standards, EVLOGIX enhances the efficiency and integration of our solutions across each project’s lifetime.
Beyond our technology, EVLO brings deep expertise and dedicated teams to support BESS projects throughout their entire lifecycle — from design and deployment to operation and optimization. Our end-to-end approach ensures that every solution is not only reliable and high-performing, but also backed by responsive service and long-term partnership.

Launch of EVLOFLEX
A new fully integrated BESS featuring advanced safety systems and modular configurations (1.65, 2, or 2.5 MWh).

A 3 MW / 12 MWh BESS goes online in Troy, Vermont, supporting renewable energy integration in the New England grid.
