Kuujjuarapik is a remote community in northern Canada with approximately 1,000 inhabitants.

Our battery energy storage system was designed to:

Help the community transition from fossil-based energy to renewable energy (diesel power plant 3.4 MW, in operations since 1974)
Part of Hydro-Québec’s plan to attain 100% clean energy in Quebec
Be part of an off-grid project
